It's not a miracle, but it's a great victory. Antonio Conte brought the Scudetto back to Naples at the first attempt, thanks to extraordinary work especially on the minds of his players. While it's true that the Azzurri had a horrible season last year, we shouldn't forget that in 2023 with Spalletti they dominated the championship. Conte didn't start from scratch as many have been saying for months, but he was certainly good at giving new motivation to a group that had lost its way. Something similar happened to me too, when I arrived at Milan after Arrigo Sacchi. "Everyone around here thinks you're full, that you don't want to win anymore", I repeated to them to provoke them into reacting. It worked. And I'm convinced that Conte did something similar in Naples, because he has always been an exceptional motivator. On a tactical level, however, Antonio's merit lies in having restored solidity and defensive organization to a team that in 2023-24 was taking on water every Sunday.
